So clearly the Magic came out hot and their physicality was an issue for the hornets. But I had some thoughts lmk if yall agree or im trippin
1) the refs controlled the game with some insane whistles. You can’t call that many moving screens (imo a few of them were clean) a not call the Magic for holding and hand checking.
2) Charles Lee had one of the more awful coaching games I’ve seen. He played 8 guys within the first 11 minutes. Having a guy like Melo, who loves getting into the rythm of the game, sit half of the first quarter is confusing and insane.
3) Grant Williams might be the worst player in the league yet he played 6th man of the year minutes.
4) this was such a big learning moment for all the youngin’s on the hornets but sitting them out the entire 4th when it’s literally the last game of the season where they can learn a few things is also insane.
I don’t see how he’s not fired after that performance. Maybe that’s too harsh, but I don’t want to make excuses for the hornets as the Magic came out and hooped like I thought they would all season long back when I saw the roster last summer.
I also had the over 218 so a little salty and maybe that’s where I’m focusing on the negatives.
anyways .. go Suns ML and Suns -2.5
