Thunder will be with SGA, Williams and Caruso for this game. Yes, this team is deep and they are REALLY tough to beat at home. I went to game 7 against Denver last year in the Playoffs and it was arguably the loudest stadium/arena I have ever been to with the exception Arrowhead. SGA and Williams being out is huge. These two guys are their two best offensive players. SGA was league MVP. Without them, and their ability to create their own shot, their offense becomes stagnant. Aaron Wiggins is highly underrated and he can create his own shot off the dribble and can be a starter on any team, but the rest of the team are mostly jump shooters who rely on SGA/Williams to create off the dribble. Furthermore, Alex Caruso is their best on ball defender. He can defend your PG, SF, and even bigs. He was a menace against Jokic last year in the playoffs because he is long and rangy, strong enough to where he doesn't get bully balled in the pain, and he can anticipate passing lanes. Dort does the same but I would argue not to the degree with which Caruso does. Caruso would be the primary defender on Mitchell and Harden. I would play this game at Cleveland -4 but would not take it above that.
Nuggets @ GSW
Chef Curry is out. The team is not the same without him. Similar situation to the Cleveland/Thunder game with Thunder missing SGA and Williams. This is just too much to overcome for a Warriors team that has depth and plays hard. We cannot expect Draymond Green, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis to guard the Joker here. Denver smashed the Portland Trailblazers and I really like for them to keep things rolling in this spot against GSW. I can see them going on a run here before the playoffs as the team is finally starting to get healthy. Cameron Johnson, Julian Strawher, and Christian Braun have all been playing well which provides much needed support for Jokic and Murray. I am willing to pay the juice and take the ML, I do not like this number anything above 5.
