NBA rigged for the under now?

I'm watching the Lakers and Thunder game and these teams literally can't shoot anymore.

Did the league start rigging the games to go under? 

too many overs 

Been like 75%+ unders since the break.

It's possible.  Used to see ref's blowing the whistle for a combined 50-60 FTs a game to force the Over.

And lately they just swallow the whistle and players are mad cause they expect FTs and don't get them and don't know how to just play through it.

This is crazy now we have Totals as low as 205 which was  unheard of before the break

 It’s no coincidence with football being over now more wagers are coming in on the NBA. Inflated totals because the majority will bet Over. Boom… nothing but Unders. NBA is an awful product. No one would watch this trash unless they had a wager on it. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!

Covers degens have been complaining all year that there’s no defense and the NBA sucks when there was super high scoring games. Now you guys are complaining that there’s too much defense and not enough scoring. Can’t win with you negative Nancy’s.

Has to even out...These idiots realized that the Overs were hitting at an astronomical rate earlier in the season. Now it'll be mostly unders until the playoffs again.

Every game had 38+ free throws attempts last night

Last week most games had under 40. Usually in the 25-30 range

I think for me, the question more is - is it that they're playing more defense or is that the ref's are just swallowing their whistle?

I'd prefer it to just be defense myself but I can't imagine they're suddenly playing "perfect defense" and aren't fouling at all - which points to it being a ref'ing thing and that inconsistency is what is annoying or suspect.

If you were paying attention, you would know that there was a conversation over the all-star break about how games are being called. Certainly this has had an impact. What’s more is that we are in the last quarter of the regular season and many sections of the standings are super tight. Defending takes effort and most guys won’t bring that for 82 games but if you’re going to bring that effort, now is the time. Not to mention that the pressure of these games causes guys to miss shots, just like we see in the playoffs. Is it so difficult to believe that after 60 games, coaches and players might figure a few things out and slow down these super high powered offences a bit. More game tape just means it’s easier for every team to prepare. What about the fatigue of being this far into the season? 

Does any of this cross your mind before you start screaming “rigged”?
