Eastern Conference
*Cleveland has not lost in the 1st Round of the playoffs in 5 years.
*The CAVS are by far the superior team with 20 more wins on the season, making this a huge mismatch in level of talent.
*LeBron is on an absolute mission this year, and nothing less than the title will suffice. The killer instinct will be on display.
*The Bulls still have tremendous trouble scoring when Rose and Heinrich are not shooting well, and the loss of Salmons in the trade really hurts their bench production.
*The Bulls will put up a fight and make some games competitive but will only win one or two games in the series.
*No team is hotter than the Magic going into this postseason, they are on a scorching 20-3 run to finish the regular season.
*This will be the Bobcats 1st playoff appearance, and they just completed their first winning season in franchise history.
*Charlotte will not have the experience to pull out enough close games to win 4 times, but just being in this situation is a victory for this team considering where they've been.
*The Magic are extremely confident and deep, they will be challenged severely by the Bobcats, but they have what it takes to pull through in the close games.
*I think Orlando will advance in 4 or 5 games.
(I know what you're thinking, more chalky favorites, but just wait, the upsets are coming!)
*The Hawks have improved every year for the last 5 seasons, they are on a definite upward curve making tangible progress each and every successive season.
*Atlanta's next step in this edition of the playoffs will be to win at least one 2nd Round game, which they will do against the Magic.
*The Hawks starters have gelled together for years, and they are more experienced, more mature, healthier, and have a better bench with Crawford than ever before.
*The Bucks have over-achieved by all accounts in this campaign, surpassing all expectations and preseason prognostications.
*The loss of Bogut is a tragic and insurmountable setback for this club, who would have earned the 4th seed and gone deep into the playoffs with him at center.
*Milwaukee is tough and feisty just like their head coach Scott Skiles, but it will not be enough to permanently wrestle away home-court advantage from the Hawks.
*I believe this will be a 6 game series.
*This is a case of 2 teams going in completely opposite directions.
*Miami's loss in the 7-game playoff series against the Hawks last year will prove to be extremely valuable this time around.
*The Celtics' struggles with the Bulls in the opening round last season were just a foreshadowing and a little taste of what's to come.
*The Heat will finish the job that Chicago couldn't by knocking the green machine out in the very first round. Miami has proven that they are worthy of advancing to the 2nd round, although they are nothing too special.
*This will be a close and very hard-fought series, but in the end Boston's lack of heart and D-Wade's competitive desire will be the difference to get them over the edge.
*Boston's losses to teams like the Knicks, Nets, Wizards, Pacers and Pistons are unpardonable, unacceptable, and not indicative of a team who wants to advance only to get completely embarrassed & ruined by the CAVS.
*I'm gonna say that this one could go the distance, Miami takes it in 6 or 7.
I am on all of these Series Bets for varying units, and parlayed in various combinations............. but.............
Let me know what you guys think, like? dislike?
Let's get this sorted out by opening day!!!
