    2H:
    OKC 7 PF's - SAS 7 PF's
    OKC 1 FT - SAS 6 PF's

    Full Game:

    OKC 21 PF's - SAS 15 PF's
    OKC 10 FT's - SAS 23 PF's

Hell of a game. Refs all over OKC. OKC, especially Westbrook was aggressive driving inside but got absolutely NOTHING. He whent to the line ZERO times. He got slapped in the head by Duncan & refs didn't even bat an eye.

Again, refs stats has determined the winner. Frustrated i whent against it. I'd be kicking myself even more had it not for the huge plays that won yesterday. but anyway......we'll continue this in the next game of this series.

quote i just want to jot down about okc from my reply in another thread.

"they're down 2-0, have been taken in both games to the back of the wood shed pounded and humiliated. They come back home desperate & eager to show not only the spurs but the world they have guts & balls. If there is a game they win it's game 3. Lose game 3 and they know they pretty much have a massive climb - lose game 3 & mentally they'll be packed ready for vacation. Remember also Spurs just did what they're supposed to do and that's protect home court. Series doesn't start until somebody wins on the road."

Good point! Where in the same scenario in the 2nd round of the playoffs wherein Portland needed to win the 3rd game but Spurs still ended up winning. But then again you're talking about OKC with the leagues MVP.

Westbrook and other key bench players will be key in game 3. Will wait for your picks sir.

look for Thunder roll players & bench to play much better @ home. Refs will obviously play a roll & anticipating who the league sends. If stats favor the home team i will pound the Thunder.

look for Thunder roll players & bench to play much better @ home. Refs will obviously play a roll & anticipating who the league sends. If stats favor the home team i will pound the Thunder.

    Indiana vs Miami Series.

    Summary all 2 games.

I'm not going to take away anything from the Pacers, they played a great game. They were really up for this game and executed almost flawlessly on every possession. It helps when your pt guard is knocking down shots, your center is grabbing boards and scoring pts and your super-star player is making shots also.........

...........but.........only 15 PF's to Miami's 26 PF's. Indiana 37 FT's to Miami's 15 FT's. Albeit Pacers were more aggressive and could also count in some home court love and to be fair i really didn't see much shady officiating from the 1st Quarter. I usually watch intently and focus on calls from tip off and you can usually determine what the refs are up to. but they hardly really blew their whistles.

With all that said the 3rd Quarter was some what telling. The FT disparity was massive - i believe & correct me if i'm wrong but a high % of teams win the game if they win the 3Q?

    3Q:

    Indy 15 FT's - Mia 2 FT's
    indy 4 PF's - MIA 9 PF's

    anyway........

Sometimes when watching games i can feel the refs do all they can to not allow any chances of a come back. & in last nights game it was Miami they were trying to hold down. I feel this even more when i am on the wrong side of the refs and it seems the team i back just can't seem to make a come back w/ all the calls going against them. I feel Foster & crew were doing this in the 2nd half to the Heat. Indiana won that 2nd half by just a point.

W/ that said & to end this long rant i'm leaning towards Miami for game 2. Now everybody is talking about how Indiana has a great chance to knock out Miami and how they have no answer for Hibbert inside. Now all of a sudden they are the favorites to take the East - after one game!

I anticipate any of these crooks Joe Crawford/Mike Callahan/Ken Mauer to ref game 2.

    Leaning:

    MIA -2.5
    MIA ML

Indy going up 2-0? & risk Miami going back home down 2-0 & Pacers stealing at least 1 in Miami to put them up 3-1? no way. Let's see who they will send to ref.

"I anticipate any of these crooks Joe Crawford/Mike Callahan/Ken Mauer to ref game 2."

Well folks, looky here........Joe Crawford & Mike Callahan for game 2. Just as i anticipated.

The 3 refs today are a combined 24-16 for the home dog when line is 0-4.5. Take away John Goble's stats wich heavily favors the home dog 13-3 & Crawford & Callahan are 11-13 against the home dog. Goble will be a puppet for Crawford & Callahan.

The last time Crawford ref'd a Heat game in the playoffs was the last game in the BK/Heat series (Miami won & eliminated the Nets). Callahan ref'd the BK/Heat game 1 (Heat victory).....
......But the last time they both ref'd together in a Heat game was in that game 6 in last seasons finals where Miami was in a brink of elimination. That was a must-win for Miami and when i saw Crawford, Callahan & Mauer i thought it was lights out for the Spurs.......boy was i wrong. They really tricked us on that one.

Even though this is not a must win for Miami it is a crucial game for them to not go down 0-2 & risk having pressure to win both home games. Although it would be a perfect time to send in refs as decoys to deceive i can't see that happening so early in the series when the league would want to extend this & not risk their cash cow Miami to go down to Indiana. Though Heat going down 0-2 would go for good drama, i just can't see them risking it. I won't over think it.

    Lean:

    MIA -2.5 & SU/ML

saw abit of life form the refs the end of the 1st. let's see how the 2q ends

much better 2q. saw some life form Crawford & Callahan. 14 Ft's for Miami to 8 FT's for Indiana. gonna continue to watch what they do in the 3Q

    no Ft's for Miami in the 3q, 3 for Indiana. 14 Ft's to 11 Ft's

    4 FT's for Pacers in the 4th - 7 FT's for Heat. MIA 18 FT's - IND 15 FT's. MIA 17 PF's - IND -16 PF's.

Not really much there. Crawford & Callahan weren't much a factor for Miami. Some favoring calls in the 4th but not much. That hold/foul on Allen in the in-bounds play was not called w/ Miami only up 4 pts....Indiana could have scored and Heat lose the cover. Luckily they didn't.

I was on edge that 2nd half, especially after the 3Q. Was looking really shaky. Have a couple HUGE plays - my heart still pounding

just using my thread to summarize the series thus far to get a handle/control & feel on things.

Game 3 is no must-wins for anybody w/ the series tied @ 1 a piece.
After game 1 win everybody was saying how Indiana are going to dominate Miami and how Miami have no body in the middle to rival Hibbert. Many good cappers were on Indiana for the next game........then they lost game 2.

Game 1 refs i saw them give alot of love to the home team Pacers. Game 2 officiating wasn't as clear cut and i only really saw some whistles going Miami's way in the 2Q. I thought Crawford & callahan were going to make a mess of it like they usually do and give the game to Miami but it wasn't quite the way.....but Miami still came out cover & win the game.

What stood out to me after game 2 was when Doris interviewed Lebron and he had a big smile and what seemed like relief that they were heading back home to their floor and their crowd for games 3 & 4. He stated how their crowd missed them and had a big smile on his face. To me game 2 spite of Lebron playing well in the 4th he looked scared most of the game. Dunno how they managed to win it but they still did. Lebron looked like he wanted to hife up until the 4Q.......so it seems from that little glimpse in that interview that he is looking forward that love back @ home where he can be bathed in applause and support. I take into account everything, even something this small and this one tells me that after having a rough time in Indiana he will come out more comfortable and may play that more dominant game like he wants.

    Leaning:

    MIA -7

this is the lean atm until i see the refs. I do see Miami winning this but covering is another story.

Refs tonight are Mccutchen, Zarba & Brothers. They are 33-41 in favor of the road team when line is 5-9.5.

Home Team ATS refs are a combined 101-113-8.

    Zarba:

    IND 9-1 SU - 6-3-1 ATS
    MIA 8-2 - 5-5 ATS

    Mccutchen:
    IND 7-3 SU - 7-3 ATS
    MIA 5-5 SU - 4-6 ATS

    Brothers:
    IND 7-3 SU - 7-3 ATS
    MIA 5-5 SU - 3-7

    Combined:
    IND 23-7 SU - 20-9-1 ATS
    MIA 18-12 SU - 12-18 ATS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Here's where it gets even more interesting.........

Here's what i wrote about Mccutchen in last years finals:

Monty Mccutchen In the last 2 playoffs reffing Heat games:

game 5 bos/mia ecf finals 2012 (bos win)

    game 4 dal/mia (dal win)
    game 1 mia/okc (okc win)

Only exception is he ref'd game 5 of the mia/okc game where Miami eventually won the finals.

Stats above don't lie. Refs today heavily favored Spurs. Just as Joe Crawford & Scott Foster favor Miami - Monty Mccutchen is the antithesis of those two refs and is the anti-Heat ref. Miami is now 1 of 5 when Mccutchen is reffing their game in the last 3 playoff seasons.

Mccutchen ref'd the only loss Miami had vs BK in game 3. He ref'd game 3 of the Charlotte series but Miami won that.

So it seems not only do we have ref's who heavily favour the road team, wich is the Pacers but we also have the anti-Heat ref Mccutchen to add to that..........

    .................plays in soon

Hmm you say Indiana +6.5 big, yet in Calgary thread you're leaning Mia? I understand you said lean, but how do you go from a lean one way to a big play the opposite way? Not being a jersey, I'm really curious. Thanks

Tony. Post 334 in this thread he said he's leaning Miami. Not trying to be a jersey, but 3B made it clear he's waiting for ref assignments. Read, bro.
I know I still came across as a jerk, and I apologize if you're offended

I bought pts & played the regular line. Yes, so far the ref stats has determined the winner, specifically the lead refs so i'm going to continue to follow that trend.

since last season in the playoffs i've been using ref stats to determine the winner, especially in the playoffs. i'm finding that it's coming into play in the Conference finals also - something i did not observe last season.......
........Although my lean was initially Miami i also said i'd wait for ref assignment to determine the play
