Pacers vs Wizards

Pacers won 5 of the last 7 matchups between these two teams. Each team comes in this matchup after a high scoring fast paced game. At 246 this has to be the highest Pacers total in a game all season. Russell shot above 50 percent in the last matchup and I expect some drop off. This is a tough matchup for the Wiz with Pacers having the strength and athleticism to match that of the Wizards, and a offense and defense that’s slightly better than them. This is a revenge game and a chance for the Pacers to tie the series before a matchup on the 7th that could determine seeding should these two teams remain in their current spots. It makes more sense to me that if the Wizards lose this game the Bulls will have a shot at contention should they beat the Sixers who are on the 2nd leg of a b2b in Chicago traveling from Texas. Should the Pacers win the motivation should be there for the Bulls by half time. This is the 3rd in 4 nights for the Wiz after traveling from Cleveland to San Antonio in a b2b set and further back home. I think the Wiz come out a little flat tonight. And while the Wiz allowed 125 to the Mavs keep in mind that prior to that since March 25th the Wiz were a top 5 defense in the league. The Wiz do have the potential to slow the Pacers down here and possibly pull off the victory with Len and Lopez in the middle most likely seeing action vs Sabonis, but not to the tune of 5 points after such a tough stretch on the road.

The Wiz have been lights out in the last while. They are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall while the Pacers have been super inconsistent.. Not saying the Pacers can't pull it off but it's hard to trust that selection at all.. Wiz are winning their last five games by an average of nearly 9 points while shooting over 51% percent from the field.

The line movement thus far has been (on my book), -3.5 (-108) to -4 (-102) back to -3.5 (-115). Which indicates public are likely betting the wiz so it's a bit scary.. Personally it'd be the Wiz or pass for me. I do think there are better options available tho.
