Perkins needs to retire and stop humiliating himself. It looks like the Thunder just put a uniform on a janitor and sent him out to play against Marc Gasol. Actually janitor would probably at least be able to catch a basketball when it is thrown to him...

well lets not forget about the draft picks that came along with Kevin Martin.  And the money they will save by not resigning Harden.  Perkins I have no argument for.

Yea maybe they can use all that saved money to bring in another top 12 NBA talent (which Harden is)...or maybe draft one in the 2nd half of the 1st rd.

Westbook is the thunders best player by far, Harden was their 2nd best, Durant is highly overrated, and they are being exposed now without the two, its that simple.

And its ridiculous to think of comparing Durant to Lebron. Durant is a great scorer although not tonight but he is not in Lebron's area code as a basketball player.

agreed jonny, Durant and Melo are basically the same player, can score but that's about it, neither will ever win a title

Its shocking how bereft of talent the Thunder really are with no Westbrook. Most of these dudes are just embarrassing... collision, sefalosha, fisher, martin, Jackson, Perkins...bunch of absolute stiffs.

No, no he's not.  And they'll have 3 picks in the top 32.  One being the 12th.  And they'll probably use that extra money to bring in a free agent.

They couldn't sign him after his contract was up.  They got a 16ppg scorer and draft picks.  Pretty smart if you ask me.  Now if they wanted to keep him, they shouldn't of resigned Ibaka.

Certainly agree with that...Ibaka is overrated. He's a decent defender but will never be close to the level of player that Harden is. Not even close.

Remember the losers that argued Durant over LeBron? LeBron made it to the finals with a lot less talent in Cleveland than what Durant has right now. Kevin Martin or Serge Ibaka would be the 2nd best players by far on that cleveland team

when u got Ibaka who is essentially a defensive player shooting 17 shots and kevin martin who is a pure scorer shooting 6 shots in almost the same about of minutes i think you got to question the coach as well as the players.  Bad performance by okc but im happy for memphis.  Rootin for them all the way.

thats not true gimme mo williams and delonte over martin.delonte was atough 2 way player and mo could score just as good as martin

I love the postgame show how they showed 3 statistics about the thunder

1) Russell Westbrook tears ACL (thunder go 3-6 since)

2) Kevin Durant 5 of 21 shooting

3) Kendrick Perkins due 18 million over the next 2 years

Ernie Johnson asked why the 3rd stat was even posted, Charles & Kenny just laughed then Charles said that was more than he made in his NBA career jokingly

The Thunder offered Harden and he said no.  The only option was to trade him.
