I have had a good last couple days in the NBA. I am going to try to post and will try to keep updated record. Full disclaimer, I do lay the vig in certain games if I don’t want to lay points, and realize the juice is high. I will make note of this and try to point out at what number I wouldn’t play the game. Today I like:
Detroit Pistons ML (-140)
Chicago Bulls ML (-160)
I would play Chicago -3.5 but would lay off the game at anything -4 for above.

Charlotte Hornets have been playing very well. They are winners of 9 straight games, 12 of their last 15. They are one of the best teams in offensive efficiency. Kneuppel is one of the more impressive rookies, Miller can score 20+ per game and they have even improved on the defensive end of the floor. Why fade them at home? The Pistons are a much better team at home than on the road. I like them in this spot, I think this is a bad matchup for the Hornets. They do not have anyone who can stop Cunningham.
Cunningham I believe will be able to get into the pain at will and score/dish. Thompson will lock down and slow down Ball/Miller, and I think the center duo of Duren and Stewart will be too much in the paint for the Hornets. The game will come down to Detroit getting defensive stops, as I don’t think the hornets will be able to slow down the Detroit offense. The game will be slowed down and will need to be played at Detroits pace.
