I need help :(

Question

I take capping very seriously. I follow money management philosophies and I research every game. Yet this season (my first) I'm capping something like 45-50% and I've legit lost half my bankroll already. It disgusts me.

In addition I'm a perfectionist and so losing nights piss the fuck out of me. I don't really want to quit though, but I feel like I've tried so many different strategies. I dunno.

I'd love some help

I'm only 22 and wanna grow up to be a professional handicapper like Billy Walters.

Well, first if you practiced good money management you wouldn&#39;t be out half your bankroll while hitting 50%, and when you say you have tried everything what does that mean?? When you try new systems you have to test them over an extended period of time, not necessarily betting the games but picking them and seeing how they turn out without money involved until you find a winning formula.. It takes a lot of time and patience to build a bankroll and make a lot of money but like you said, you&#39;re a perfectionist and this is your goal then it shouldn&#39;t be a problem.. You&#39;re 22.. Take your time, manage your money, and continue to put the effort in.

I&#x27;m not lying.  I&#x27;m legit down 50%.  I&#x27;ve noticed it&#x27;s a lot harder to make money than lose money.  I&#x27;ll go 5-2, make 3 units, but last night alone I went 4-6 yet lost almost 3 units.  All units are the same though.

Bet 1% of your bankroll per play. You&#x27;re young. Take your time. You&#x27;ll probably make 20,000 bets in your lifetime. Make a plan, have some goals, stay the course. -@JustWinDude

Don&#x27;t believe there is such a thing as a natural born handicapper......it&#x27;s a learning experience......frankly it&#x27;s usually decades.....&#xD;&#xA;Made my first bet in 1984.....had Miami against Boston College....with a minute to go I marked my sheet with my W and a few seconds later Doug Flutie threw it 50 yards into the endzone and I had my worst beat of my career on my first play of my career.....I just started to learn a few things about capping in the last couple of years.....But maybe I&#x27;m just slow.
