Twitter community = everyone posting +10000 parlays most filled with crazy props. Each person with this odd delusion that it will hit because some other guy hit a similar bet last week
Covers community = people posting straights. And although to many of you it does not seem like it, people on covers seem to give much more analysis/value on here than anywhere else.
I mean if you go to Twitter right now for the first time, you will quickly see why Vegas is so rich. I am an avid twitter user and I have not seen a straight bet in a few weeks. It has gotten so bad, that even popular guys on twitter posting free picks no do 2 leg parlays instead of straights. I mean it is honestly sad but at the same time they feel they might as well throw their only $10 in a +10000 bet over a -110 one.

Twitter is toxic for sports gambling. Too many sellouts and casuals. Also the people that delete their plays and cry about losing. Those normally come from the twitter touts.
Nothing is worse than the normalization of promoting parlays like its a good thing to do so. Single bets are the way to go.

I think this is the result of widespread legalized sports betting. Think how many more people are betting now than were just 12-18 months ago. And I think the vast majority of the public looks at it with a lottery mentality - low risk for a miniscule chance at a high reward. Covers has barely over half a million registered users. How many of those actually regularly post in these forums - a few hundred? How many twitter users are there? I would say twitter has the market cornered on square, occasionally-bet-a few-bucks-to-get-rich-quick sports bettors. Covers has the market cornered on degen gambling addicts that regularly risk the rent money by tailing some random poster who has run hot for a few days/weeks.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

So many of the guys on twitter and Instagram will just pull their tweets after a loss. One of the reasons Rob Gorodetsky got into big trouble, along with forged tickets.
That and taking millions of dollars from his father in law to "invest" and gambling it away.

Yeah I hate it. Because of them sports betting has a bad wrap when actually I am not even sure if sports betting is that different from the stock market.
