What was it
Exactly. Say you bet a team at +3000. You don't need to win that bet to make money. Sometimes the favored team will drop down to -500. (Still a pretty heavy chalk) Put $500 on them. If you already had $100 the other team at +3000, you will break even, or win $2500. Bet $1000 at -500, you win $2000, or $100.

WOW! Since 1997-98, teams are 4-1,640 when trailing by 7+ in the final minute of the 4th quarter/OT in the playoffs. The Pacers account for THREE of those wins.

The game has evolved too. SO yes nothing is safe going into the final minute of the game. Good stat. More to come.

I think I saw +900 or +1000 for the highest. It wasn't something crazy. I was checking late cuz I had Indiana +4.5 and was honestly trying to cash out when other books were giving +5.5 +105, but my book wasn't offering a cashout. By the time they did I think it was 9% of my bet, so I kept it. Good thing I did!
Some books take the ML off for a while. But from my experience, if you see a +4000 it's pretty much done. They didn't offer it here.
