Confirmed sharp action on the under 207, which forced books to move the line down to 205. Since then, the public money has been absolutely pouring in on the over bringing the line back up. I'll bite here and follow a much respected syndicate group and take the u206.5 for 1u.
Which makes this movement more interesting is this:
Overall Ticket %:
Over 75%
Under 25%
Overall $$ %:
Over 80%
Under 20%
This is a clear indication that this one particular sharp group is respected very much by oddsmakers alike as the line is moving in the opposite direction.
Syndicate groups expecting a good old fashioned eastern conference showdown where points will be at a premium. Lets hope we cash along with them.

I personally lean with the Raptors -11, and see this line heading to 12 or possibly even higher. However, Syndicate groups moved the -9 and even some at 10, however, square followers continue to push the line up as high as it is now and will continue to do so.. Most of the value has probably been sucked out, and could see some value comeback at some point in the near future if this line gets too out of hand. This Raptors group are capable, but they have a tendency to play down (or up) to the level of competition which is a significant worry for me here. This game could very well come close to the current line, and I don't think we will be seeing any more sharp action at this current price tag. The oddsmakers know the public perception will be exactly what you are illustrating here thinking the Raptors are a bargain, and will be inflating the line accordingly.
However, this is basketball and Raptors could win by 40! GL with what you choose, no play here for the time being.

I think Dallas may be worth a look, haven't decided on that yet. Spurs -16 is inflated for sure, and I personally took Pacers +13.5.. However wouldn't' recommend at the current price so not releasing officially here. By the time I locked in at the same time a sharp group was moving the number was no longer available for me to post. Don't want to give out ghost numbers. I know that drives guys nuts.

Syndicate groups continue to take small nibbles on the Knicks. One sharp book in particular has taken 5 separate moves from different syndicate groups keeping this line honest. Each time bumped to 2/2.5 and then hit down once again, where we start seeing 1.5's showing up. We'll take this now, hoping not to miss the boat.
Public are huge on the Clippers as expected seeing 80% of the action, and almost 90% of the overall $$ wagered is on the Clippers. Books will be hoping the sharps come through on this one and want to keep attracting the hopeful losing money from the Joe's on the Clippers.

Curious about the bolded text. How does one determine this is a clear indication as opposed to, say, a scenario in which a neighboring sports book getting hit with heavy sharp action (where the % dollars on Knicks >>> bet % on knicks), and the sports book with 20% $ wagered is merely following suit and protecting itself?

Thanks for your question. I simply have confirmed with a few old buddies that still work the books that this is the case, and that it was a sharp syndicate group working this game. Since then the line has actually ballooned above the original sharp take.. I am being told this is more 'set up' action and nothing too sharp but we will wait and see.

I actually lean against both of these slightly, due to sharp action going slightly on the under and the bucks. Not much to write home about however. Lines are probably pretty accurate based on situation.

Confirmed sharp action on the under here. This line will probably continue to drop a half point or so, and will probably move quickly so if you plan on tailing I would recommend locking this in now. Tough to see the wiseguys angle here, but I can't argue with the source of the money showing up.
The current ticket % is 85% on the over and the actual $$ amount is almost 90%. This line is moving down due to some extremely sharp action. I have confirmed this is legitimate and not a set-up or head fake so to speak, so locking this in as soon as possible and that may be all we have for NBA. I will keep on top of things and post more if the information becomes available to me.

Just confirmed with a few buddies running the lines. No real money behind this move from any respected source. Just a ton of public money coming in on the over and books don't want to be too exposed, so want the late flood that always come in to be at a worst number. Wouldn't be surprised if it's hit down once again. Shame we missed the best number, but things like that cannot really be predicted. Just the luck of the draw sometimes. Generally we'll be able to grab the best number based on the information I am able to release to your guys but this isn't fortune telling.. We're gamblers at the end of the day! GL.
