I'm coming to think the team that wins simply hits their shots period, more 3s more FTs. There is no defense. It is the team that tees up and hits their uncontested shots. Brunson hit everything and barley had a body on him, he misses Knicks lose. It's kinda like a good old boys club now in NBA where no one plays hard D b/c if they injure another player that could affect his contract so they all just play soft, protect their bodies, increase their stats and thus increase their contracts. It's a beautiful thing like the housing bubble, everyone is in on it and getting rich until....pop. The amount of teams and players bowing out with no emotion is telling.

Gambling has ruined the NBA. Fact: how many times in last 2 weeks have you heard this is the greatest comeback, we've never seen this or Lakers scored the lowest 4th qtr points or no team has blah blah blah whatever in NBA HISTORY? Why? You think suddenly this year is an anomaly? Because your hard earned loot is one one side and they determine what makes the most $ and know it and adjust accordingly. My rich friends do this in their million dollar businesses, to think it doesn't happen in a mega billion dollar business is naive. Such a shame what it has become. Give me the stats of a home team being up 7 with under 3min in a playoff game and lose? Wait, I'll tell you 1st time in blah blah blah. What strikes me as funny is all the pundits and talking heads know this but if they ever talked about it they'd be done. Ever notice if you go on a radio show and breach the subject they immediately drop the call or talk over you. They all know the fix. Sad.

it's really bad when teams are up 7 pts with 2 minutes to go and can't close it out.  you can usually just swarm the 3 and foul inside on defense every time.  the amount of 3 pters or and ones teams give up when leading like that are astronomical compared to what they should be.  up 7 and guy is driving on you and you're out of position....give up the 2......it's just really poor coaching and clock management.  most nba coaches have the intelligence of todd bowles in terms of clock management.
