My closest friend who still lives in Vegas and works the Sportsbook. (Won't say where to protect him) has said EVERYTHING is different since multiple States agreed to legalized Sports betting with concessions. He said players come in, young, nobody knows them personally or seen them laying down 100-200K on some games. Some books lay the action and other's have stepped back and watched things unfold. The transfer portal, Mob influence, the ease of placing bets from a computer or cell phone has changed EVERYTHING. I have both algorithmic leverage and inside information on many high profile games. NEVER locks. But enough information to make a calculated wager. Much like the Stock market sports betting has become what you know, when you know, and who you trust.

Interesting stuff. Nothing is a lock but information never hurts. Lot of millionaires are being made in this digital age could be some of them are gamblers. Hard to say gamblers laying down six figure bets would not be known in the sportsbooks like those on Wall Street. Who knows but the internet and computer age has made a lot of people richer overnight than ever before nowadays. Who knows gamblers come and go but I would have to believe over time Las Vegas figures it out. Great posts as always
