I am not a fan of the Lakers. This game is very sus to me. Smells fishy as I doubt we'll see more than a couple bets on Lakers ML if that. What peeps aren't talking about is that Lakers are the most rested team in the League. They've played 2 or3 less games than everyone else at this point, and 4 less than Atl. Not only have they played less games, but they've also had less travel. Their schedule since Dec 10, when they purposely lost to Spurs to avoid the Cup play and get this rest, is beyond ridiculous: they didn't travel west of Utah for an entire month, they averaged 2-3+ days off between games, they made a quick 2 day trip to Pels and Spurs and essentially it was a 1 day trip b/c they shut it down v Spurs then had only 2 games in 5 days w the second tonight. No team is more rested, not even close. Meanwhile, Hawks have traveled all over the country and to Toronto during that span and are coming off huge wins at Denver and at Warriors, who's the last East Coast team to beat Nuggs/Ws/Lakes on a roadie? I love this Hawks team and was on them ML at Denver but this seems like a trap game to me. I fully expect Lebron to play and have a big game or big assist game and get his mates going, no reason to rest here. When Hawks let go of the rope they lose by an av'g of 11ppg and give up an av'g of 130pts in those games. Lakers have a light sched against sub .500 teams before they hit a brutal road trip and make up for this cake sched so they need to tuck these home wins away if they're going to make any noise come trade deadline and playoffs. I also wouldn't be surprised to see my favorite, the most notorious player hater, referee Scott Foster on the whistle as he ref'd the Clips game last night so would make sense he just stayed put in LA for this one, that dude can determine a game the way he calls it for shizzle. 118-111 Lakers
Lakers +3.5
ML +124
TT over 113.5
I really want to chase the dragon w the Phx over, I've lost twice now chasing their over v Knicks and then Wiz. Now facing the running Heat, hmm...

I would of liked to see this post in March. Not sure if rest matters this early on still.
I think Atl is just being overvalued due to the recent roster shake up's and putting together a few wins.
On paper I'd take the Lakers roster VS current Atl roster if all players played. But unfortunately there are just toooooooo many decisions being made just before tip-offs which really pisses me off knowing the lines are distracting you from the obvious decision.
The low line indicates as if Lakers will rest players for no God damn reason even with the easy schedule coming up next 5 games..
Yet here we are with Atlanta being favoured against a Lakers team losing three straight?!?Line has even climbed since opening in favour of Atlanta favouring rest of key players.
Vegas just doesn't give simple freebies on silver platters.
I wish you great luck on your wager. Keep posting your insights

You gotta have balls to take the Lakers tonight. They haven't scored 30 in a quarter since Jan. 6 when they scored 32 in the 4th, that's 15 of 16 sub 30 quarters L16. Meanwhile, Atl has scored over 30 in 5 of their last 8 quarters. I like the Hawks but the only thing that worries me is how shady the NBA is. lol

When a team is on a losing streak like the Lakers are, the visiting team almost seems like they kind of sort of let the home team win. It's called the Shady Factor Home Win.

These late 8pm PST starts are brutal. I'm banking on after Blazers being up 3-0 in this series and every game blowing up, we see some underish regression late night.
