Well I was also thinking (just wrote a bit about this in another thread) that is the line is 2.5 or 3 for OKC then I will take the points.

I am sure they will win, just as I was sure tonight, but with such small difference in payout, I will take insurance, as those 3 pts could make a big difference.

Books could really screw people, and get a game 7 by having san antonio win, but not cover.

Do not worry though...I highly doubt this will even happen so if you like playing ML or if you only do straight bets, feel free to play the ML and don't even worry about it.

But if doing a parlay make sure to take OKC with the points, if they are favored take them ML

Game 5 was more a must win for SA than OKC. Now watch OKC put the hammer down at home to close out the series. Pop's "coaching" cant hide the fact that SA is old and not able to run with a young, physical OKC team that looks like its starting to put things together.
    They hungry right now...

Obviously I disagree with that, and I think that spurs will have even action. Lots of people are set on the spurs, thinking they are the better team. They don't see the hunger in OKC's eyes.

OKC ML game 6 shaping up to be one of the easiest bets of the playoffs

So you disagree with the premise that "the whole world will be on OKC" and then you continue by saying OKC in Game Six will be one of the easiest bets of the Playoffs.

    HUH?

If you feel that way, you can see why many people will assume that OKC will be the bet of the post-season this Thursday.

So why is Vegas GIVING them points?  Reverse psychology?  Very few people play that angle.  They see a team they like, see they are getting points, and jump on them like madmen.

Vegas stands to lose MASSIVELY if the Spurs don't pull this out.

As of now, 70% in Vegas on OKC plus the points, 88% on OKC ML.  93% on the Over.

    Good call mgm

After game 5 i think we can almost certainly say it will be Thunders vs Warriors. Theyve shown they can beat the Spurs in San Antonio, no reason for me to think they could dobit again if it goes to 7..

I think that will be a more entertaining series to be honest from an offensive standpoint.
Sip on that plus money honey!

I'm not sure what is confusing about this:

"I don't know if they will win in 6, but the Spurs should not be laying 7 points to them in game 5... probably shouldn't be laying 3.5 points..."

I felt like OKC ML last night was one fo the EASIEST plays of the playoffs. I didn't let anyone in public know how confident I was. I acted humble about the play.

But in private I made a massive play on them and I also did not even bother to take the points.

So, my way of thinking certainly does not apply to the rest of the world. So when I said "Easiest bets" of the playoffs, i meant for me.

I understand at least 50% will have trouble picking this game. Some might pick OKC ML some might pick spurs ATS, etc. Some might pick spurs ML and OKC has the best chance to win this game hands down.

Vegas won't lose anything if spurs don't win. They have their ways of getting everything back that they "lose"....so it's an illusion that they are even losing. They are not. They are build upon the players losing. Vegas is winning

OKC is the play for this game, take them ATS if you're worried about a game 7.

I just looked at spread and according to covers its down to 1.5 now.

Maybe books realized their line didn't fool anyone this time, so they adjusted it

I think that will be a more entertaining series to be honest from an offensive standpoint.

Well the one thing making me think they wont win game 7 in SA is that they've already won 2 in a row on Spurs home floor. That equates to spurs losing 2 straight at home.

Do you really think they might lose 3 in a row at home after winning 40 in a row? That would be too obvious. This is one reason they will end the series in 6 IMO

Another illusion. Winning/losing one bet does not mean you should quit gambling. It's when you have a problem with it, or are losing a lot in the long run is when you should probably quit.

I'm sure you were joking though. (I Hope)

Okc needs to end this next game or else it's a wrap for them. Game 5 was huge win for okc. What's the stat for those who have 3-2 lead advance? like 70+ %.

Ok let's assume it is exactly 70% and that OKC has no chance in game 7 (I think most of us can agree that there is no way veteran spurs losing 3 straight at home(in a closeout game no less), without something super fishy going on)

So that all equates to OKC has a 70% chance to win game 6!

That is just keeping it as simple as you can.

And I agree with this, except i think OKC has a 90% chance to win game 6. So I am even more sure than what the numbers are telling us. Books opening them up as underdogs was either

A- Desperate attempt to fool us into playing San antonio
B- Books honestly believe that SA will not lose 3 straight to OKC

yeah that is true, OKC will have to finish this series tommorow, but if not it will be very tough. i'm afraid to touch game 6. i think Spurs will put up a fight. still think this goes to 7...
