Lebron’s worst defeat of his career in the game where he becomes the all time leader in minutes played. Classic Lebron stat. Also the 4th time in his career without a rebound… but it’s just ONE game. 

Pistons, on the other side have lost 14 straight games which is tied for a franchise record. A loss tonight will be historic for this Pistons squad, and not in a good way. 

Besides, is it more embarrassing to lose by 40 on the road to a team at the top of its conference or lose by 20 at home to a team that’s 2-14? I’d say the latter. Not to mention, there’s still plenty of room for LA to not take this game seriously despite their bad loss. They are definitely still looking at tonight’s game as a scheduled victory, especially with another game tomorrow in OKC. 

I don’t know if I’ll be backing the Pistons tonight, but I certainly won’t be trusting LA to cover 8 on the road against the most desperate team in the league.
