Ok guys, after trying to put together my top 10, I realized something. Well a couple of things actually. First of all, putting together a top 10 is pretty hard, so it turned into my top 20, then ended up being my top 40. Secondly, I shouldn't have given pirates a hard time for the movies on his list. Because after looking at my list, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a lot of shit for some of the low quality movies I have. But like pirates said, some of these movies are ones that I watched as a child and still love today. And some of them aren't high quality movies, just retarded and hilarious to me. I started thinking about movies that I don't even own, yet I have to watch it every single time it comes on tv. I got a handful that I agree with the original list as well. Also, I got lazy and didn't want to take time and put it in order, so with the exception of my #1, there is no order.

jerry ,maguire great movie, even though forgetting sarah marshall is a great movie i wouldnt put it on my list, but that is your list so i am not going to bash it. impresive movies list. some good ones up there

Yeah I was really on the fence about Shawshank. I really like the movie, and it's my g/f's all time favorite movie. But, not sure if it was one of my favs so I left it off. As for Forrest Gump, I'll agree that it was a great movie, a classic actually. But for whatever reason, it's not one of those movies that I like to watch over and over again. Whenever it comes on tv, I flip the channel even though I really enjoyed it.

Wild Things was good, and Diggstown was one that I totally forgot about that probably would've made the cut if I remembered it.
Never seen Long Kiss Goodnight. Live Free and Die Hard was ok, nothing as good as the orginal.

As for Jerry Maguire, I was sitting at 39 movies and needed to just add one extra and couldn't decide between Jerry Maguire or The Rock. Now that Diggstown was brought up, I would actually probably put that in as my last one.
And Jerry Maguire was a solid movie. Even though I hate Renee Zellwegger, I thought it was hilarious and liked the relationship between Cruise and Cuba Gooding. Gooding was awesome in that movie.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall was a movie that I had zero desire to watch when I saw the previews. It looked horrible to me. Rented it b/c I was bored, and it blew me away. Laughed out loud quite a bit. That was my first time to really watch Mila Kunis in anything, and she was gorgeous. Don't know his name, but the main character's whole Dracula Musical was awesome, I thought. Seemed like they actually put quite a bit of effort into making it. Russell Brand was funny as well.

see its hard to narrow it down, you think of so many good movies.i started my list of with 5 then went to 10 then 50 then 100, now i got over 140 movies on the list. but i got the idea of making this list from a store called east coast music and video, it is like an indepednt blockbuster. the owner has a a list in the store and all his top 100 movies available to rent. i am glad every one came up with some list and put them up here, i know yall were bashing me at first but i didnt really care, cuz i kinda disagree with some of the movies in others top ten. but hey those are your favorite movies. i have to say i have only seen parts of godfather, and i have never heard of true romance. but what do people think is the worst movie of all time. or the best actor of all time. i am intrested to hear what people have to say. i would have to say clint east wood would probably be in my top 5,
