It's funny that so much of it is quite historically accurate, but some is wholy made up. The story of lawyer on the McCoy side bears little similarity to real life character, Perry Cline. I'm also not sure much, or any, of the Nancy/Johnse drama actually occurred. Nacy did leave him and marry Bad Frank Phillips, but I don't thnik that happened until after the fued had died down. Indeed, Johnse and Nancy had a couple of kids, so they had to be together longer than the film seems to show. In all, it was pretty good. I did, however, have a hard time getting past homw damn stupid it all was. Poor white trash killing poor white trash only so interesting, even if thry're famous poor white trash.
