Yeah, The Fighter went like this, a movie about Family first, then drugs second, and then boxing last. Let's put it this way, if you knew nothing about Ward or even like boxing in the first place, you would like this movie. Whether someone saw the Ward / Gatti trilogy or not had nothing to do with this movie as well.

I really enjoyed it too. Sorry I didn't see this thread before I made my own. That was my mistake. Honestly I only watched this movie because of the Ward/Gatti fights. There was more to the story than I knew.

I saw The Fighter and liked it. Probably one of the better movies I seen recently..
