Taking of Pelham 123 - completely anticlimactic. Really blah for what I thought it could have been
Avatar - Was pretty good. Glad I saw it on the big screen, but storyline is pretty predictable. Was imaginitive and creative though, and pretty fun to watch.
Up in the Air - I liked it better than Avatar. Was better than his last movie, "The Men Who Stare at Goats" by a longshot. I don't want to say much about it, only that it's an overall well rounded movie with very solid casting.
The Amateurs - Ted Danson, Jeff Bridges, and a bunch of other people that you recognize but don't know their name. It's about a guy who constantly tries to strike it rich and fails, and the next great idea is to make a porno, and the whole town gets involved. Was amusing, nothing special, but definitely worth a few laughs. Jeff Bridges just makes me laugh for the most part anyway
Brothers - can't remember if I wrote this up in the last thread or not, but it was pretty decent. I imagine if you know someone who went overseas, this would really hit home a lot harder, but it was just an overall dark movie that was pretty damn sobering. I thought the 3 main performances were solid, though I'm typically not a huge Maguire fan.
Enter the Dragon - For as much as I love fighting I can't believe I hadn't seen it yet. Was good, I can see why it's the #1 Martial arts movie, aside from the whole Bruce Lee aspect. I liked the beginning a lot, where you get a nice indirect summary of the mentality and principles of Jeet Kun Do. Overall pretty entertaining, but know that it's Martial Arts and don't expect much more than that.

while watching this movie, my wife turned around and asked me why is Obama sending troops back and is requesting 33 million dollars from Congress to put it in this conflict even though it seems like the people do not really appreciate what we're doing for them while our economy is still in shamble and jobs are declining and homeless is on the rise.

I wanted to like the movie but it was terrible. I laughed maybe 3 times, Billboards/wedding party and the high voiced guy

public enemies= alot bettr than what i heard from ppl, no heat or goodfellas but certainly bettr than a lot out there and finally a movie about old school crime, luv that stuff
the ugly truth= good flick if ur chick drags u to one, watchd it with a girl but the guy is pretty funny in it with the stuff he says and its not mushy, got a semi erect from katie heigl and that movie turnd the chick on big time

Sherlock Holmes...excellent movie, well worth the $$ and two thumbs up to Downey JR!
SH #2 should be great too!
