Re-reading this thread from the beginning .....If Yuice20 doesn't get the ball rolling in Post #13........I don't think this thread becomes what it did.  ......Then ELI posts a link that has EZTV in it , who I am familiar with , and I threw my contribution in of downloading movies and shows.

Talk about hijacking a thread.

As it turns out.....Because of this thread.....I happened upon DVDFLICK and am burning movies once again.  

Who would have thought that HOUSE was this educational.

 

One more quick tip.....You can also download Pay-Per-View events such as Boxing - MMA - UFC - and Pro Wrestling .....Usually available about 3 hours after they are over.

Watching it the next day beats paying $50 - $100 live.

In fact, if you are running torrents now, just click HERE and your program should start downloading a dvd rip of the movie.

You don't need it on your toolbar ....But you could still keep it on your desktop if you want to check it out for music....but forget about movies there.

Yeah....I looked at a couple others and this one is as good if not better than Mininova.

I just clicked his link and it looks fine.....As long as you still have VUSE on your system ....it will go there.   CLICK OPEN ...NOT SAVE.

Once you do your Vuse page comes on the screen and you will see it loading....might take over an hour.

Once it is finished loading click on the movie and at the top of your VUSE screen on the left press PLAY.

If you want to burn it go through the steps in NETFLICKS that I will post shortly.

Oh shit, I thought you were already familiar with the torrent links. My bad, that link I put in post # 108 is a direct link to the torrent and nothing else. Hopefully Coldsnap comes back in here to explain how Vuse handles these torrent links because I've never used that program.

Using a Mac has nothing to do with it. You just need the proper program and then clicking on the link will open the program that downloads the movie which is linked to ( do the star trek link above to get the dvd version ). Or thats what supposed to happen ...

Here is an example to simplify things : I could send you a link to a picture I want you to see. Since you probably have a program like PAINT ( or the equivalent for a mac ) that views pictures, it will open directly and you will see the picture. Thats what happens when VUSE opens a torrent link.

Once I op[en "Vuse" which is in my toolbar, then what do I hit to do my searches and downloads.

That's what I'm feeling so stupid about Eli.

TO BURN....

OPEN DVDFLICKS...THEN CLICK ON THESE..............

 

PROJECT SETTINGS.............BURNING............BURN PROJECT TO DISC...........VERIFY DISC AFTER BURNING......ACCEPT.........ADD TITLE........Look in......AZUREUS DOWNLOADS......Find the movie you want and ...DOUBLE CLICK........DOUBLE CLICK AGAIN.......  Then click on .....CREATE DVD.

Put a disc in and it will burn your movie.....Might take about 2 hours......Make sure the movie is done burning before taking it out....DVDFLICKS will tell you when it is finished.

Just click on the link that ELI posted......A small VUSE box will pop up ....Click OPEN..... "NOT SAVE "  

Then your VUSE page will open up automaticly and start loading the movie itself.   

Maybe....But not neccessary....It will stay in your VUSE library till you decide to delete it.

NAH.....I know what it's like to be a little confused about computer stuff that I am unaware of .....If someone didn't show me how to do this.....I would be the one asking here.

The search box for vuse isn't providing me with any success at all as far as my requests....It's gotta be my fault somehow...

I typed "star wars" in it, just to see if anything would come up, nothing but drivel.....

type one of those other torrent sites in Vuse's search square maybe? You guys quit on me, huh?
