1st one (along with Rounders ) is my favorite movie ever
2nd one was fantastic and its never on ,except this month it has been on a ton on FMC. just a great movie (except the stupidity of that old woman getting a stun gun onto a plane)
i liked the 3rd one but not as much as the 1st 2
this 4th one looks awesome, i may go see my 1st movie in theaters since i go see a movie film about Borat

the die hard series is commendable in that all 3 of the movies were pretty damn good(i liked the third the best) and there were no stinkers, unlike many other trilogies out there.

I can't believe it either... Seems just like yesterday that he gets driven up to the place where the party is with the limo driver cranking that song about "Mom, cooking chicken and coolered greens" WOW - Time flies!! This is the year of the 3rd movie... Spiderman 3, Ocean's 13, Pirates 3, Shrek 3 but then a 4th Die Hard!! MAN - can't hollywood come up with anything original any more??

Just watched the first two last night. Going to watch the third tonight then hit the theatre. I think I might even wear my wife beater and smear some grease on it.

I read a review where it says that he does say 'motherfucker'. The reviewer didn't know why it wasn't rated R, like the previous ones.
My problem with the plot (and the same with Die Hard 3) is that it doesn't take place in a confined place like the 1st and 2nd. I'm not a fan of all the racing around.
Also, the trailer shows some way-too-ridiculous CGI action. John McClane taking on a helicopter? Really?
I prefer the nitty gritty, simple explosions and kick ass action of the first ones. I don't need all this access. Die Hard is the anti-Michael Bay (Con Air, Bad Boys) film.
But, I haven't seen it yet and I definitely will.
