but there is money to be made. Give me your bottom 10 Bullpens. You can live bet for some real plus money when these teams are up after 5 or 6.

Bullpens are so finicky year in and year out. Failed starters become good relievers, losers in small sample sizes the year before become assets in small samples the next year. So it’s tough to say immediately. But right off the bat going from last years data, some pens to watch early that could be disastrous:
White Sox: on paper they have no closer. A bunch of journeymen. Signed Tim Hill one of the biggest loser arms in MLB.
Royals: signed Will Smith, assuming to close? But he single handily almost destroyed the Rangers season last year blowing games left and right. Guessing they’ll take a few months of lumps breaking in young arms before the pen becomes settled.
Mets: behind Diaz they don’t have much proven setup. A lot of jags and a lot guys who’ve struggled in the majors. Like the Royals, will probably take a few months of lumps before figuring out who’s who.
One team to watch early:
my hometown team the Mariners have some big time early bullpen concerns. Matt Brash will start the year on the IL, Santos who they acquired from the White Sox likely will also. Their pitching coach Pete Woodworth has great success turning losers into quality relief arms, see Paul Sewald, Gabe Speier, Drew Streckenrider (for a season), Justin Topa, etc. So they’ll likely be fine in the long run. But early on in April/May it could be dicey.
