i’m at game now. In Atlanta. Loads of rain they said 8:20 PM first bitch. I’m not really sure they’ll get this game cause there should be more rain afterwards. So just bear that in mind because sale and Kelly might not make it if there was an additional rain delay after they were first brought out

Hey BC. Miss you in the soccer forum. I don’t see you answered this yet but what are your thoughts of the Tibs firing? I hated him in Minnesota but he seemed to pushing the right buttons in NY. BOL on your under tonight.

I was truly shocked that he was fired not at all surprised.

I honestly think this is as far as he could of took us and

it was time for a new voice. As great a coach as thibs is

he is an old school head coach and i believe we need

 a new school voice at this time. Defense was his 

specialty and this year the defense just wasn't up to

snuff. He also played his starters way to much and

didnt trust his rookies or bench and that contributed

to his downfall.

Fair points. Who are you hoping they hire? Any leads? This has to be one of the top destinations for most coaches.

 It is a prestige job thats for sure.  The main issue here is

its a pressure cooker. The knicks have no draft picks after

trading most of them in the Mikal bridges and towns trades.

They are also in cap hell so unless they trade from the core

they can't do much. They have a 5.7 mill exception and minimum

salaries to offer free agents. So they have to consider trading

towns hart robinson etc to improve.

I personally would want Johnny Bryant who was on the coaching

staff here for 4 years and knows the players well. He definitely

knows whats its like to coach here and what it takes to win.

Definitely deserves an opportunity to run a team. Will they

hire him?  Thats another story. There are all these crazy rumors

right now about Rick Pitino, Hurley from uconn, Calipari, and

veteran COACHES like Malone And Budenholzer. 

It will be interesting to see how they proceed. My guess is

they won't hire anyone til the finals are over as to not take

attention away from the finals.

possibly being traded plus the celtics trading guys it
