The ice in the cooler appears to be melting rapidly and the Natty Ices are on the verge of skunk status.
This is a nice spot for Lee to shine as the Nat's try to avoid the sweep in this three game series.
Washington's offense has really struggled and the injuries of Desmond and Morse aren't helping any.
Their status is up in the air for this match up however even if they return I question how effective they can be against Lee. Zimmermann has the better record and ERA this season but struggled in his last outing against the Braves.
Lee has a slight edge when comparing their career hitter vs. pitching statistics between these two clubs.
