Small bet for $50 but this line is very steep IMO. Covey making his first start, sure. And I hate Phillies pen but I hate every teams pen. Public will hammer ATL for the last game of the night and Strider has been hittable his last couple starts. It’s rare when I bet big dog ML but I see the public getting slammed tonight. Boo to all

Correct on both bat aspects, these lines are either gunna pay good or fuck alot of people. The price for both ml obviously have the pitching baked in....but I think they give Strider too much credit, and Covey didn't have a bad first appearance the other day either. I'm not saying Covey is sick nasty, just saying he COULD keep philly in the game more than the public thinks....and it will depend on the wishy washy streaky phi bats. Think I'm gunna talk myself into some real degen moves here hahaha......

For whatever it might be worth, I think there's a little bit of value here on the Phillies.  I'll be staying away myself.  I'm a Braves fan and I hate betting against my team.  But I won't be backing them tonight, either.

I've followed Strider since his days at Clemson.  I honestly think he hasn't reached his potential yet.  It might take another year or 2, but he has the potential to be a HOF pitcher.  He's got great command, but he hasn't yet learned how to manage a game.  Great pitchers set up hitters by offering them one thing during their first at bat, and then something completely different in their 2nd and 3rd ABs.  Strider has yet to reach this point.  The Braves just haven't played very well at home, for whatever reason.  Truist Park will be rocking tonight as it's a holiday weekend and the weather has been crappy up until this afternoon.  Covey is an unknown factor.
