Not sure what the attraction is to the Boo Jays but for those continuing to back them, their wallets have been getting lighter and lighter with each passing bet. As was the case last night when the Yankees rolled Toronto 5-0 in game one, I saw a good number on the rebound this afternoon for game two against the Yanks but once again these Boo Jay bettors are about to watch their hard earned cash go up in flames. With play in the boot half of inning number six, the first-place Yanks once again has its' engine in cruise control leading the last place Jays 5-1.
The sad part of this story is that every year this Boo Jay team makes wholesale changes to its' roster thereby providing a positive outlook on the upcoming season but every year it's the same disappointing result. This season looks to be no different but still there are many people out there who refuse to accept the club's failure and for that reason alone they continue to bet them with high hopes in mind. Seems to me the sooner you people realize that this is not a good ball club, the sooner you'll find yourselves avoiding these ridiculous losses. Why you continue to back this sad-sack baseball club in the first place is totally beyond me.
