Today is probably not a good day to mess with the Houston Astros

Last season the Astros won the final 7 road finales of the regular season and then they went 3-0 in the final road game of each of their playoff series, a run of excellence that was punctuated by their huge Game 5 win in the World Series over the Phillies. That means the Astros are 32-5 in the final road game of a series stretching back to 8/17/22.

Texas choked on the last day of the regular season and lost the division title to the Astros. To me it seems the Ranger's momentum of being the poor underdog  is fading.

The orioles might’ve been the last home team to take the last game of the series against them but the orioles unfortunately got swept by guess who. Rangers are going to the World Series imo.

If this score holds up, I will put my money on Astros gm 6 that this series will go 7, and in gm 7 I will sit out for sure. Bator do not post much, was kind of surprise he swung for Houston here. 6 more outs, so still a lot of game left in this one. Good Luck to all. What a great series this is making out to be.

Of course Adolis Garcia deserved that plunking as retaliation for his walk up the first base line following his 3-run homer. What’s he even upset about? He deserves another one in Game 6!

I dont' think it was purposeful but completely agree.  I do like Garcia though as he is on my dynasty team which won the trophy this year.  

A clutch homerun against one of the greatest pitchers of all time... it's hard not to celebrate, but you have to expect the retaliation. Granted in the playoffs maybe you wouldn't expect it as much as a regular season game. If the Rangers were going to win another game this was the spot since they were statistically the best day time hitting teams in regular season. Unfortunately I think this will be the last day game of the playoffs.
