Just in case anybody’s wondering, I have working internet, multiple TVs and four fucking monitors in the home office. I get the scores.

A few of us - well me anyway - also played the rest of your card so we’re off to a rough start. Fingers crossed for a turnaround

The Short Card isn't a betting card. It is used to get down to the ONE cleanest play. This isn't rocket science and is actually fairly simple. We can't be off to a bad start if the game hasn't even started yet. 

I post thoughts early. Bet them or don’t it’s your money.

But the ones I actually bet  Those motherfuckers get stress tested all damn day. Lineups, splits, form, matchup, price, everything I can find.

I’m just telling you, there’s a big difference between my short card and the games I actually fire on.

If I were you, I wouldn’t bet the early shit. Half the time I’m just trying to figure things out in my own head, talking out loud and working through the card.

But do whatever, hope that helps

The ideal script is Cease settles in, Texas struggles to square him up, Toronto gets Rocker into stressful innings, then the game starts leaning our way by the middle innings.

The one thing I don’t want is Cease having to pitch around traffic while Rocker is getting cheap 8-pitch innings. That would be the opposite of the handicap

So early, I’m watching Cease’s command and Rocker’s pitch count more than the scoreboard. If those two things look right, I’ll feel very good about where the game is headed.

I do wish Gary was around a little more at night, but I know he’s on some different time zone in Honduras or wherever the fuck he is.

In Gary’s defense, he did not like Cleveland today.

Yep  Rocker getting through the top clean on 12 pitches is not what we wanted, but it is not a problem yet.

Now Cease needs to answer with a clean fucking zero

We got to Rocker a little bit there couple hits, some traffic, just couldn’t cash it in.
