Yankees bats look completely stuck right now

Yankees have not scored more than 5 19 straight

Only scored more than 4 twice

Yankees have needed to fire Boone and cashman for years now! Boone is pathetic. That being said, Cole is not the old dominant Cole we know and with the Rays swinging the way they are and McClanhan has been dominating

Detroit first five is definitely on my short card today.

This is not a full game look for me. It is Melton over Springs early. Springs is very attackable and Detroit should have run scoring chances right away. The only pause is Melton’s underlying numbers showing some possible regression off that 2.05 ERA, but with the A’s bats this flat, this may not be the matchup where it catches up to him.

Tampa Bay is definitely on my short card today, both first five and full game.

Yankees bats have shown almost no life lately, and now they get McClanahan from the left Tampa is scrappy, they’re at home, and the line is still reasonable. Cole can always show up, but he has not looked quite as sharp since those first couple strong starts back, so this one has my attention early and full game.

A few others sitting on the radar right now.

Milwaukee is steady and still looks playable if the number stays fair.

Miami is interesting, but I want to keep digging before moving it up the card.

Cincinnati is definitely worth a look with Philly going bullpen game. That usually opens the door early if the Reds lineup shows up.

Still sorting through it, but those three are on the watch list
