Through two innings on 30 pitches, that’s exactly where we need Meyer to be. He’s not cruising with perfect command, the strike-ball profile is a little dicey, but the scoreboard is what matters right now.

Meyer has done the hard part. Three innings, no runs, no walks, clean pitch count. Now he does not need to be perfect, he just needs to stay aggressive and not give Seattle anything cheap.
