Tigers have lost 10 games this season when Skubal started

Lost 2 to KC   3rd start he pitched a Gem

Lost 2 to Cle   playoff start he pitched a Gem

Lost 2 to Sea  both losses for Skubal..   Tonight pending...

So Kansas City and Cleveland couldn’t hit him at all and the Mariners did. In a total of eight starts against the Royals and the Clevelanders, Skubal recorded a teeny tiny 0.46 ERA over 54.2 innings. In two starts against the Mariners his ERA was an ugly 5.90 over 10.2 innings.
