HerbShack I have experience writing pattern recognition software used in analyzing
foreign exchange markets. I typically only bet on fights when I think
hype has swayed the line in my favor but I have recently set aside a few
thousand to try and develop a system or find an already developed
working system that I can tweak or automate. I know C# and python. I put a few thousand on a floyd KO @ -160 so now I have about 5k of the
houses money. I've decided to use this to develop a system. Let

Ok, well just add me as a friend. I was thinking of creating line graphs out of the most pertinent and then running some of pattern recognition software I wrote to look for patterns in price movement to help find the ends of trends. This would hep us get in at the start of a new trend before it starts and know when a trend is about to end before it ends. I think you could help me decide which data would be the best to plug into my system and maybe how to tweak my algorithm to make it fit sports instead of price action.

My pattern recognition software looks for patterns in the price action that occur when big money enter a position either or dumps a position at the beginning or end of a trend, this way I can place my trades in the same direction as the major institutions who move the market. I think this could also be used to analyze the money line or spread changes as bets come in. It could also be used to analyze actual like average hit per inning vs runs,or pitcher stats, ect. like I mentioned 2 posts up.
