Do you see any value in the Red Sox. I feel they are going in opposite directions there is way too much momentum on the Red Sox side. E-Rod is looking like trash but he has to get out of this slump at some point just wondering your input on this.
No strong opinion there. Never been a huge Red Sox fan. I usually don't dig in too far to the player level. Long term league wide systems mostly. My bias is that zooming in too far hurts your capping.

Why +1 why not just ML? Mets most likely going to win by 1 or more.
Quite the opposite. When facing a bottom feeder team, a large favorite often fails to cover the spread (any sport). The reason (my theory at least) is that they strongly feel that they can win and don't feel like exhausting themselves. So just control the game, get the easy win and move on. Anyways, the big fav lost 3-7 in this one; not that it means anything as far as that theory goes...

I took them yesterday for a small amount on the side. I was real reluctant, but things were adding up there. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what I was looking at, but statwise, the Angels were winning over Texas in start site whip differential as well as divisional performance (units not record). Don't quote me on that though, that's just off the top of my head and honestly, I haven't watched a single baseball game this season. I just run computer programs and have a long term knowledge of aces like Weaver. The focus for me right now is N.American football for my readers (CFL, NCAAF and NFL), and then just grinding out my strong base systems for the end of regular season in MLB; not overthinking anything in bases. Basically the computer applications I programmed just spit out viable investment propositions for me and then 10% of the work is applying my own critical thinking on the thing.

My best friend is a Iraq vet; I appreciate your services. I don't know what the forum's on hot button issues like politics, but kudos on sharing your opinion there...everyone needs to seriously vote for whomever they really like; no lesser of two bs...writing in Rand Paul.

Baltimore sucks Herb u have been awesome but not sure why you would go against abtop pitcher and a slumping orioles. Not to mention the playoffs on the line i may have to start fading these till you get back on. Note to self avoid the orioles , indians, mets. Three offenses that you never know what you will get. Good luck.

Long time lurker here. Just now made an account to encourage you on keep on making those picks.
