You seldom get to see the best team in baseball proved so cheaply against a squirrel pitcher on a squirrelly underachieving, overrated, overpaid bunch like the Phillies. Kyle Kendrick had a few nice starts but he's far from elite or consistent. Edwin Jackson is consistently average, the better pitcher here on thebest team in baseball. Washington comes in off a days rest while the phils come in off an emotional late 11th inning really win last night. I'm being the Nationals -120. Their a grinding team that manufactures runs, while the phils just hope for the big inning.
Play on: Nationals-120 in a grinder of a baseball game

Denville, I forgot to thank you for your "best play in 25 years" a few days ago, on the LAA/BOS under. I faded you and am glad sure that I did. Probably the best post in the history of covers forum.

I have never seen a better play in my 25 yrs of betting.
One team will score no more than 3, and the other will not exceed 5.
I am unloading on this, new car size bet. And then, I am done. Sure something wacky could happen, but I doubt it.
Wife is bitching too much about the time spent gambling, so it's better to ride off into the sunset a winner. Yep, me and Michael phelps, comrades in arms. Thanks for the laughs fellas"

Denville, please stop watching sports and stop betting. All joking aside, reckless gambling like this is only going to hurt yourself and your family. I really hope for your sake that you didnt "unload on this, new car size bet" because at least a side is at worse a 50/50 win odds play, a total is just a perception of the score, not near as solid. Goodluck dude, and all kidding aside I hope your able to recoup your losses one day without further causing any damage to your family.

Don't you think a late inning emotional win plays in the favor of the Phillies instead of against them?
Also Kendrick had pitched 21 straight scoreless innings before, being put back into the starters spot on Aug 8th. He pitched 2 shitty games after returning to the starters role, but has looked good in his last 2 outings.

There is a bunch of shit I look at when deciding what game to bet on: Nats are the best team in baseball while the Phils are something like 20 games out. The Nationals are coming into this off a loss and a days rest while the Phils went hard into 11 last night, using up bullpen options. Teamrankings has Nationals winning over 50% of the sims with a similar games final score projection of 4.6- 3.2. Accuscore has Nationals winning 54% with a score of 4.5-4.0. The Nationals are road warriors, 41-23 on the road while the Phils are losers at home, 28-35. Edwin Jackson pitched great as well his last time out, 11 strikouts in 7 innings, with 2 hits and 2 walks. The Nationals have a better lineup than the Phillies. Also, I personally live in the Philly area, am a lifelong Phillies fan and watch this team often. I personally like the Nationals in this spot. I mean, not nearly as much as Denville1 liked the LAA/BOS under 2 nights ago but I think its a good wager. GL!

Although the phils basically used their entire bullpen last night, every pitcher had a relatively easy inning. Also, for a guy who claims to be a lifelong Phils fan and watches the team often, I'm shocked you didn't mention the way that the phils "GRINDED" out that win yesterday, 3 Sac Flys with 2 of them coming on back to back plays in one inning. Although, they split the series with the Reds, they showed a lot of life and heart, which I think will carry over into this series and throughout the rest of the year. I'm not saying that they are going to make the playoffs, but after what this team has done over the past 5 years, the writing is on the wall for them to make a nice run right now. Do you not see it that way?
I'll most likely be on the Phils for the same reasons that you are against them. In fact, I'll be on the Phils to sweep this series.

Look, dont get me wrong, I love the play of Domonic Brown as of late. But the big money players are underperforming their contracts, and while talking about how much your enjoying the Phillies season not once did you mention the Nationals and what they have been doing, which is far more impressive.

Funny that this dude Denville posted this. I remember how good a fade he was and looking at his previous posts found his "Play of the Year" in College basketball, on 3/3/12, it was Seton Hall -5. Seems legit...

They are going to win by more than 5. All you a-holes who think you "know" how to gamble should play this game. Trust me"

Now lets look at the box score of that game and see the legitimacy since this is clearly someone who "knows" how to gamble and that we should "trust" LOL:
