As far as the payroll, yes they are not breaking any rules, this conversation has been going on since i started on this site in 06, the same people talking about that same shit. The shitty part is it will never stop on this site and the hatred for the Yanks will never stop. The Yankees YES network rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars, the Yankees spend money to make there fans happy and try to win every year. There are not many franchises that give back to there fans like the Yankees. Do we overpay for some players, yes, i will not deny that nobody will. But if you are preventing an elite player from going to a competitor then you have to do what you have to do...

Come on, even if every citizen of Kansas City was a crazed fan, they still couldn't come close to matching the dollars NYC pulls in. The argument that Yankees fans are better is just fuckin retarded. Besides, the spending power alone that NYC commands because it asks twice as much for everything just demonstrates how little you know about the economy of baseball.
