I don't think you understand the Lee's very well. They are nothing like the Texeira's. It's not all about the $$. They are from R-CAN-SAW and they're "kountry", nothing like those BIG CITY types. Besides, afeter one BAD outing the NY media would eat him up like Kenny Rogers

I guess thats why the Phils couldn't resign him because it wasn't about money?The guy and his agent are most certainly looking for a huge money deal and thats the main objective.

It seems the only ones not killing the Yankees/fans are the Philly fans. Quite ironic. I guess we found a mutual respect towards one another with last season. I still have hopes for a rematch...I refuse to give up just yet.

Well if any Philly fans are yapping they shouldn't be as we are not in a prime spot either.But I will admit I doubt we will see any rematch this year.

Last time I checked you traded Tex...for a very great package mind you. You also traded A-Rod. I love how everyone is saying the Yankees "stole" these guys from the Rangers.
Getting Lee would be a robbery...the others...not so much.
Also...Lee never wanted out of Philly (ate beeg sity). I heard an interview with him after the fact and he was PISSED to be traded from there, especially to a losing team. Now he can either stay with Texas...or go to the Yankees for more money and play for a team who will always have more money and will always put out a team that can win on any given day.
Remember...you didn't start the season with Lee. You gave up your biggest possession in Smoak to get him. If the Yanks were to do that, it would be no big deal.
