Dude. The play was a 4-team parlay to win $3200 (including stake). It's not everyday you go 3/3. When you go 0/2 early, it's easy to write off the $200 or whatever you put on. But here is a chance to actually cash in by pushing a potential loser.
And for that "BKRL management" ratio, I'll be whiling to bet any amount of money that 99.9% of the people don't have 20x a regular stake sleeping at a bank. We are not professional gamblers. We have regular day jobs. A paycheck comes in every week (or 2 weeks). Sometimes you spend your paycheck on stuff, sometimes you put it on a game or two, sometimes you play a parlay to help pay for a vacation. If it wins, the vacation is all the better. If it loses, you write off your stake and move on.
