It's one of the best times of the year. Opening Day. Cannot wait it for to start up tomorrow. I have been betting baseball for years so I thought to have some fun this year and join covers. Wish everyone a great and profitable year. Should be a lot of fun!
3/28 Opening Day Picks
Nationals ML (+130) - Frankie Montas pitched one inning last season. I know it's the Nationals, but it's the first game and he shouldn't be laying -150 IMO. I will take a shot with the value here.
Nats/Reds OVER 9 (Even) - Looking like beautiful weather in Cincy for Opening Day. I definitely don't trust Montas in this game as stated above, and I believe Gray could struggle at times against the Reds lineup. Both bullpens are weak and could blow up at any time.
Pirates ML (+112) - Love what this Pirates team did in offseason. Believe they can be competitive all year in a weak division. Like the value with Keller in what should be a low scoring game. Hoping Oneil Cruz can stay healthy. He is a stud.
Yanks/Astros OVER 8.5 (-115) - Both pitchers had rough Spring Training. Could mean nothing, but I like both lineups to start hot here. Astros have solid numbers against Cortes, and neither pitcher should go deep. Most starters will probably go a max of 5-6 innings.
