Have 4 plays to kick off the season today.... Somedays I have alot and somedays I have no plays. I just cap the plays and look at try to find value....
3 Unit Play - Over 10 (-105) Cleveland(Lee)/Texas(Millwood)
---- Lee was almost unhittable last season winning 22 games, but I'm a believer that was a magical year and I look for him to come falling back to reality. Millwood is a mediocre ace at best and will pitch to an over 4.50 ERA this season. Both offense can and will score alot this season....this game could be over the total early....
2 Unit Play - Reds +150 (Listing Harang/Santana)
---- Reds at home with a solid lineup and I exspect a huge bounce back season out of Harang. Santana is a beast and could easily go out and throw a two-hit shutout to beat me, but I'll take the +150.
2 Unit Play - Orioles +180 (Listing Guthrie/Sabathia)
---- Sabathia is a slow starter each and every year and alot of that I think has to be with the cooler weather he used to pitch in in Cleveland each season. The weather looks to be overcast, cool and maybe a slight drizzle. I feel the O's +180 with a solid Guthrie on the hill just is too much value to pass up.
3 Unit Play - Blue Jays -150 (Listing Halladay/Verlander)
---- Verlander hasn't been the same in two seasons and looking for the Jays to jump early and often. I feel if the Jays get 4 or more it is game over with the big man on the hill.
