Excellent Sunday hitting all 3 PODS to end the week on a high note. Missed mets plays which sucked but overall was a big day. Looking for a big week to end the last 2 weeks of June on a high note. Lets get it

Jake Irvin goes for Nats tonight and he already has a
win to his credit vs the rockies 3-2 in Colorado where he
struck out 9 rockies and didnt walk a batter while he only
gave up 2 solo hrs 3 hits and 2 runs overall. Rockies are
a very young lineup and despite the outburst in the 7th
against the braves yesterday they are a bad hitting team
on the road. Irvin is in a little rut but had a strong may
and nice run in april and i believe he pitches well tonight.
Palmquist has been better his last 3 starts after a rough intro
to the majors. He pitched well in wrigley holding cubs to 2 runs'
in 5 innings and had 8 strikeouts at citi field vs the mets. Nats
are in a big rut at the plate scoring 3 or less runs in 11 of 13 games.
I missed the 9 earlier and got stuck with 8.5 but i am believing Irvin
will shut down rockies and palmquist wont get drilled. Something like
a 5-2 nats win
POD # 2- ANGELS UNDER 8.5 -124 - 12.5 UNITS
Soriano is the type of pitcher yankees tend to have problems
with. He is a pitch to contact guy who induces alot of ground
balls. He hasn't given up a Hr in 2 months so it will be fascinating
to see what a struggling yankees lineup does against him. Stanton
is back today but his timing is probably not back yet so it might
be a couple of games before he contributes anything. Schmidt
goes for yankees and he already has a 6 inning 0 run 4 hit 1-0
win over angels and he has pitched very well lately as well. Under
is 4-1 his last 5 starts and has allowed 3 runs or less in 8 straight
starts. Going under 8.5 here

Hey BC. Gotta ask the under expert. You like the under the Dodgers game? Cease vs. Otanhi? Yeah I know Showtime could have some rust but I doubt they would throw him out there if he wasn't ready. They have too much money invested in him. Plus whenever Otanhi pitches usually his hitting takes a back seat so that is good too. 9 seems a little high.
I like it. And Stanton will return tonight and I'm guessing he's good for at least 2 K's. Schmidt is starting to hit his stride after being out which if you look at other pitchers who have come back from injury, they also took a couple starts to get in a good groove. Maybe consider this and don't be so hard on your Mets when they get Manaea and co. eventually back ;)
