The run line was considered, but at +106 I didn't want to have to worry about it. The Yanks have the best OPS in baseball since May started, and thats despite being shut down by the Milwaukee staff over the weekend. The O's staff will be welcomed with open arms by the Yanks hitters. They are looking to get back on track, and Brandon Young is a good place to start. He gives up a bunch of long balls, has control issues, and doesn't miss a lot of bats. Weathers has been better than good for the pinstripes, and looks to keep this Os offense down, as so many before him has done.
Tampa Bay Rays +108
We got this exact matchup a week ago, and nothing has changed for me. Rays have won 13 of 15, while the Jays have gone 8-7 in their last 15. The whole Rays pitching staff has been unbelievable, and unlike hitting, pitching usually isn't streaky. Gausman is a wonder to me. He doesn't throw hard, and none of this stuff would be considered "nasty", but it works for him I guess. I trust the bats of the Rays to get things done, in what should be a low scoring game. Vlad hasn't done shit in two weeks, and Okamoto can't do it all by himself.
Giants/Dodgers Under 9 -110
Putting faith in Sasaki isn't easy to do, but this Giants offense stinks still. They are paying alot of money to Adames, Chapman and Devers, and not one of them is doing a damn thing. Lucky for them, the Dodgers are dealing with some injuries still and that seems to have put a wet blanket over their offense. Trevor McDonald gets his second start of the year for the Giants, and he was super impressive in his debut. He pitched in this stadium a year ago, and kept the fully loaded Dodgers line up to 1 ER in 6 IP. I like what I see from this kid.
