Pretty big day of nothingness yesterday, splitting a few big plays and not following my own warnings. I believe today should be a day for the dogs but that will also mean tight games with solid pitching matchups. I also feel the Tigers/Mariners series will be much more skewed to unders especially in Seattle. I really like Skubal but then again so does everyone and the Mariners really need this game to feel at ease on the road where they played pretty well this year anyways. Luis Castillo has also been sensational at home, much better than on the road.
UNDER 4 FH (NYY/TOR): Max Fried is locked in again and he's on the road where he has done quite well this year with 11 of his victories coming away from Yankee stadium. He's also 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA vs. the Blue Jays lifetime. I think today plays more towards the Yankees early and if the Blue Jays can get through Fried they might have a chance. But I would be surprised if he weren't shut down today. On the opposite side the Jays start Trey Yesavage, one of their young arms, who wouldn't be here in lieu of Scherzer if they didn't believe in him. He can strike guys out and while I lost on the Gausman prop yesterday, the Yankees still do strike out often. He's started 3 games with only 14 total innings so don't expect him to have a long leash. More the reason I tend to lean to the UNDER here.
I will be back shortly but want to get this posted. Hope everyone is having a profitable day and a nice Sunday. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
