For those of you who flowed the last 3 starts ERA angle, it is getting close to applying the strategy.
I like to see 4 or 5 starts before I use this, but for fun last night I looked. There were four games where both pitchers had 3 starts and enough innings. Wouldn’t you know it, all four won. Pitt Clev Tex and Minn.
So when you actually apply this is up to you.
Good Luck!!

@Metzbets This post is only to those who followed this strategy last year. Also I am not going to post the strategy again. Anyone interested can look at the posts from last year.
i decided to look at possible plays today and there were 8 games that qualified going 7-1 with Minn the line loser. There was a dog that won Miami. So 12-2 the past 3 days. I would say go ahead and start betting these plays.
Good Luck this Season!!!

Here is one of his posts from September 8, 2022 that explains the system.
I used to bet all spots before I got married. I choose my wife over sports betting. However, I still have strategies that work which I keep track of over the season. So here is the strategy and it is simple. Use Covers MLB print sheet and look at the last 3 games ERA numbers. The play is on the team with the pitcher who's ERA is 3 or more better than the other pitcher. This may be hard to believe but the record is 22-2 over the past week plus, with a 5-0 night tonight. The plays today were ST Louis, SD, Phil, Hous and KC wins in the bottom of the ninth. Be sure to list both pitchers if you play the game early!
I have made money every year I used this strategy in the past. SO what you can do is track results on your own and bet accordingly. What I have found is the HF and RF win the highest % of their games the dogs win a little over 50%. One other thing I noticed is the big dogs +200 or more sometimes only lose by one run so a runline may be the way to go on those sometimes.
Hope this is interesting and profitable for you all.
I just what to share money making strategies with you all because who knows how much longer I will be around.

Very good info here. My question is since this system focuses on starting pitchers, why not just bet the 1st 5's? Why let the bullpin's get involved? But regardless the record here speaks for itself. This is outstanding stuff.

" Use Covers MLB print sheet and look at the last 3 games ERA numbers. The play is on the team with the pitcher who's ERA is 3 or more better than the other pitcher."
This is clearly saying that the ERA has to be 3 or more LOWER than the other pitcher, which is the case tonight.
Megil's ERA over the last 3 games is 2.81.
While Stripling's ERA over the last 3 games is 7.20.
The only thing concerning me is that the WHIPs on these 2 are pretty close over the last 3 games with Megil being 1.38 and Stripling 1,60.
Sometimes ERA can be a bit deceiving. Hoping this is not the case tonight.
The Giants suck at hitting though so that is in the METs favor.
