Wazuuup mah man guess what?
I have great respect for you but given the ERAs of the two starters and their inept offenses, the fact that the number jumped to 8.5 from 8 suggests an Over.

Sorry 8, to 8.5, not the other way around.

Hey key long time follower. Wind blowing out at 20 mph in both games. Do u not factor in wind? Not trying to be a smart a$$ just wondering if something like Huge winds blowing out makes much of a difference or not in your opinion?

[/Quote]Gentlemen;
this may sound like heresy, but ALL
of the probable factors are known to the linemakers and built into the line
before it is opened. It is then hammered by sharps before you even get a look
at it. Weather, winds and umpires are no secret to the Covers Forum that
no one else is aware of, and no elixir for a long and happy gambling career.
Nothing compensates for the basics. A guy is going to throw a ball; at various
speeds and dipsy-doodles in it’s motion. Another guy is going to try to hit the
ball (a round moving object) with another round moving object (the bat), long
accredited with being the most difficult feat in sports. All other factors are
peripheral and extraneous. They are for consideration, but betting umpires and
weather, as opposed to the relative skills of the players, is a road to the
poorhouse.
I
don’t know if these picks win, neither do you; but if the hitters strike out or
hit grounders all night it will be obvious that the players settled the W/L and
total runs without extraneous and peripheral factors being involved. If a homer
is wind assisted and lands in the first row of seats, that is bad luck, but if
it lands in the 25th row don’t tell me the wind beat me. It was gone anyway.
BOL,
whatever you do
