As a NYC resident, and life long NYY fan tonight was tough to stomach.  They have no one to blame but themselves. I think they need to blow the team up.  Starting pitching has been trash for a decade.  The bats are way to inconsistent for the money they are getting paid.  Tampa Bay's model is solid.  Analytics. Strong farm system, and not over paying any players.  Nobody has all the answers, but they had their chances over the years.  Trade players for assets and rebuild.

As a Yankee hater one thing I can say about this team, is they lack patience at the plate. I used to hate watching them work pitchers and force long innings. Case in point that last inning. 4 batters.. 8 pitches. Never worked for it. Just went up Hacking like a Minor League team.
