I think the Jays let go of Halladay at right time. He had two really good years after trade but now is on the decline.

I feel for the guy.

Anyhow he is good fade material

remember the '87 tigers trading smoltz as a prospect to atlanta for doyle alexander?..

doyle if memory serves was tremendous down the stretch that yr for sparky and helped the tigers win the AL East...

alexander provided an immediate return, but they didn't get past the twinkies in the playoffs...

Smoltz should be in hall of fame. But then again who knows bc of steroid era.

Halladay should be first ballet.

Btw I didnt watch baseball in the 80s
