Watch him pitch a losing no hitter
Dodgers runline bettors got lucky in the top of the 9th. Dunderhead Dave Roberts entrusted those -1.5 bets to the care of the highly flammable Tanner Scott. All four Rockies that faced him smashed the ball hard, but only the leadoff hitter Ryan Ritter reached base with a double. The next two batters hit the baseball right to Mookie at shortstop, and then Max Muncy at third caught the bullet off the bat of Hunter Goodman to end it.

Roberts pushed all the right buttons with the bullpen and relievers in the postseason en route to a real World Series win. I'll give hm that. Not that 2020 bogus shit. Don't get me wrong Roberts was a nice scrappy player who definitely was like a Craig Counsel and had a future in managing. However, since Walter Guggenheim and high finance decided to take over with stupid money Roberts cannot be deemed a good manager. Not with his rosters and the amount of dollars used since 2012. And the amount of losses to the tune of billions spent. I'm sure it's a worthwhile venture for Walter, Magic Johnson (Magic Johnson's son haha) and all the other owners but they should have more than one World Series.
It's a rather sickening return if you grade purely on that scale. I'm sure they are not because their money has made the franchise more valuable. The product on the field is competitive and popular in a large market so it plays well. Plus Mary Hart is still jumping up and down behind home plate until husband Sugarman needs to be go home and be nursed while watching 1990s reruns of Entertainment Tonight. But you or I could manage the Dodgers no worse than Roberts or Mattingly with that syndicate paying talent nauseating sums.
