Detroit Tigers -118
Neither team hits lefties very well, so the under was an option, but at 9, seems trappy. The Reds bullpen has been lights out, but I think the Tigers get to Abbott early, who has been getting knocked around quite a bit recently, and it's happened early in the ball game. Framber has been rock solid, aside from one start, and there isn't a lot in this Reds line up that makes me think he can't handle business for 6 innings.
Twins/Rays Over 7.5 +100
Yes, Bradley has been great to start the year, but can it be sustained? His hard hit% and exit velocity are both under average, which means its only a matter of time until those hard it balls, stop finding gloves. Tampas offense manufacteurs runs probably better than anyone in the league, all credit to Kevin Cash. Neither bullpen is good either, so even if the starters deal tonight, the total will still be alive til the end.
Atlanta Braves -1.5 +134
We just saw this game played 5 days ago. Braves won 4-2. The Phillies are in shambles. They sit in the basement of the NL East. They can't hit. The Braves on the other hand are just heating up. They scored 38 runs in their 4 game series with the Nats. They swept the Phills before that, and outscored them 16-3. Until Philly starts to hit, they will be faded.
Nationals/White Sox Over 9.5 +100
Nats bats + Nats Pen = Mucho Runs, hasn't let me down much yet. Poulin giving way to Mikolas is very attractive, and the Sox going with the bullpen start is nice too.
Los Angeles Angels -108
I'm still fading the Royals offense. They are averaging 3.5 runs/game. That's almost a run and a half less than the Angels offense. Yes they just beat up on Baltimore, but lots of people are doing that. Kikuchi was off to a rough start, but just shut down the Padres in his last outting, and hopefully is the start of good things for him. They are an arm or two away from competing.
Texas Rangers -1.5 +155
Severino has entered auto fade mode. He can't throw strikes. The Rangers offense is heating up a bit as of late, being held to 3 or less runs only 3 times in their last 10 games. Eovaldi seems to be getting in a groove too, allowing 4 ER over his last 18 IP. He shut this offense down back on the 13th, to the tune of 3 hits, 0 runs in 7 IP.
Yankees/Astros Over 9 -118
Two red hot offenses. But really, a fade of Houstons pitching. They have zero of it. Little league ballpark will produce plenty of longballs, and this series is an entertaining one.
Mariners/Cardinals Under 8 -110
Kirby and Pallante have been great so far. Pallante had a hiccup vs the Red Sox, but other than that, he's been exceptional. Kirby had one too vs the Yanks, but bounced back. Cards have played in 3 straight unders, as the bats at the top of the line up have cooled off. Mariners aren't hitting anyone either, and both teams had the day off yesterday, so full use of the bullpen is expected.
